Bierworth & Bierworth
Builder Profile

Bierworth & Bierworth Builders, Inc. continues the tradition of home building started by the Bierworth family more than 47 years ago.

In 1955 brothers George and Richard Bierworth formed Décor Builders, Inc. In the following decade, the company became one of the largest single-and multi-family homebuilders in the Monroe County area. By 1987, Décor Builders had constructed more than 1500 homes and developed and managed numerous apartment communities through out the area, including the popular Stony Creek and North Glen Apartments.

From mid-1970 to mid-1980, Décor Builders focused on managing more than 1,000 apartment units the company had previously constructed.

The next generation of Bierworth’s – George and Richard’s sons Scott, Jeff and Glen, arrived on the scene in 1985 with energy, expertise, and the desire to return to the building business. They re-named the company Bierworth & Bierworth Builders, Inc. to recognize their individual and personal involvement in each and every home they built.

Bierworth & Bierworth enjoyed immediate and enormous success building single-family homes, by 1989; they had completed more than 180 new homes sales. Soon after, Scott, Jeff and Glen took over the day-to-day operation of the company. These gentlemen completed Iroquois Woods, Hunter’s Crossing, and Mill Run in the Town of Greece.

Bierworth & Bierworth enthusiastically took on its largest project ever in 1992 Georgetown Park. A mixed-use residential community offering independent living for older adults, along with 175 single-family homes. Georgetown Park has won numerous beautification awards.
